Since I received the refrigerator I have called Home Depot who in turn has called GE. First the second ice maker was missing. It came and was installed by delivery guys hired by Home Depot. Second ice maker did not work. Called Bob's Appliance--he said it was not on but it has yet to produce ice.

We purchased this exact same model 12/20 and were very happy with it. However, 18 months later the freezer stopped working and within a day the refrigerator would not cool. We were told that all of the Freon had leaked out and that it would cost us $1200 to repair. We opted to purchase the same refrigerator for $3050 and take our chance that we just happened to have a lemon. Sorry we didn't buy the extended warranty but with GE's reputation we didn't feel we needed it. Waiting for back ordered parts and a repairman just wasn't a viable option for us and we needed to match our other GE appliances also installed 12/20. We hope they last longer.

I really like the finish on this, fingerprint resistant and so clean looking! The inside is laid out very nice and the ice maker holds significantly more than my old one did

Ice maker and water dispenser never worked since hook up of water I and had it serviced twice. Needless to say I still don't have a fridge with features I picked out. I bought a GE range and a range hood also and the only appliance that works is the oven. My hood lights never worked right out of the box. It was serviced than started working. Now one of the light housing's is loose and the light falls out. I'm 7 months into this crap and the 1 year warranty is almost up and still don't have appliances that work but I have to purchase an extended warranty to keep the GE garbage not working. Not right I should have already returned the junk to the store.

Love the added useable space over our old model, due to the icemaker being in the door and the filter in the side wall. Only negatives noted so far are that the water dispenser flow is noticeably slower than we are used to, and there doesn't appear to be a built-in way to check the current actual temperatures.

We took delivery of a brand new GE refrigerator purchased at Home Depot. It was an obvious problem right from the beginning, the refrigerator wasn't cooling at all. Called both GE and Home Depot, both were very helpful, and we received a brand new replacement right away. Compensation for the loss of food could've been better, I was told that was the best they can do. Refrigerator is beautiful, and will continue to be a GE customer.

Impressed how much space inside of both compartments. Lighting is outstanding. Like the door alarm so we know if it isn't closed properly. Only small issue is that the chipped ice splatters when dispensing into the glass.

We do not like our new refrigerator at all. We previously had a Samsung French door model & it was much more user friendly. There are no specific keepers for eggs, cheese or butter. The shelves are too narrow. The in the door ice maker is noisy & messy. The color is nice.

When the appliance was delivered, it turned on and we allowed it cool for 24hrs as recommended. However by the next day the appliance still had not cooled. A service ticket was placed and a technician came out that Thursday to "turn on switch" that should of been on at the time of deliver.

We are very pleased with our new refrigerator!! It is absolutely gorgeous and has plenty of room in both the fridge and freezer. The shelves on the door are spacious enough to store a gallon of milk and a few other items. We love how quiet it is and that it has the option to have 2 ice makers. And the lights are freaking awesome!! We love our new refrigerator!!

We have owned a GE Profile French door since 2006. Loved all the storage features. Purchased this new one at Home Depot on Black Friday. It's definitely noisier. It is also set to receive additional shelves in the doors, but is not sold with them. So, no egg/butter bin and not shallow bin on the door of the freezer. Disappointed. I guess I hoped GE would rise above the big box store shenanigans. Will not be purchasing again through HD.
